Gianna's Scholarships
Gianna's Cheers for Hope awards two educational scholarships to local Nutley High School seniors every academic year. Our organization currently offers two scholarships: one awarded to a current Nutley High School cheerleader on the school's cheerleading team and one for a student in good academic standing who has displayed a great deal of strength a perseverance.

The application for our newest scholarship, "Gianna Signorile's Strength & Perseverance Scholarship" can be found below. The form asks for your name, email address, and provides a box for a supplemental essay to be uploaded to. The Gianna's Cheers for Hope: "NHS Cheer Scholarship" has no supplemental essay or additional application.

Submission of a supplemental essay responding to the following prompt: "Describe a challenging obstacle you encountered in your life and the steps you took to overcome it. Reflect on the emotions you experienced during this difficult time, the strategies or support systems you utilized, and the lessons you learned from the experience. Consider how this obstacle shaped your perspective and personal growth." ​​
