5k Fun Run/Walk

"Hear the cheers of Hope"

Date: Sunday, November 6, 2022

Time: 10 AM - 2 PM

Place: DeMuro Park, Margaret Avenue, Nutley NJ

Registration:​

  • Upon registering, you will be given a t-shirt and a water bottle

  • The prices for admission:

    • Adults/Children (14 y/o or older): $30​

    • Children (14 y/o or younger): Free Admission

  • It is encouraged to register prior to the event, however, we will also allow registration at the park​

Rain or shine -- bring everyone! Gianna's Cheers for Hope is hosting its first annual 5K Fun Run/Walk Event! The event will include the following:

  • Entertainment by the talented musician, Chris Barry! 

  • Light refreshments (hot chocolate and hot cider!) and snacks will be included

  • A 3 mile run/walk and a 1 mile fun run for children. Wear sneakers!

Costumes are encouraged! (Gianna loved Halloween and dressed up every year!)

​

The venue includes: 

  • Parking Lot (as well as parking around the track)

  • Bathrooms 

  • Playground

  • Sitting Areas

​

All proceeds from the event will go towards furthering Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma research, educational scholarship for NHS students, and supporting families with kids who are battling cancer. More about our mission can be found here.
