Gianna's Cheers for Hope is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible, Non-Profit organization that was created in honor of our angel, Gianna Rita Signorile. Our mission is to raise awareness for Fibrolamellar Carcinoma and to keep the memory and spirit of Gianna alive by helping families who are affected by the hardships of caring for their child with cancer.

Gianna's Memorial Scholarship

Education was always a huge priority for Gianna. She was an avid learner and constantly sought to improve herself. Her love for learning never dwindled; while she was battling cancer, she took a full semester load of courses at Fordham University, allowing her to feel a sense of purpose and normalcy in her life. She often encouraged those around her to also find their love for learning. Gianna's Scholarship allows students to continue their education and ultimately follow their dreams and passions, so that they can be the best version of themselves. Scholarships are awarded to Nutley High School seniors who show a love for education and athletics, while also possessing strong leadership and character.

Supporting Families & Kids with Cancer

A parent's worst nightmare is having to receive news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. There is nothing in this world that can provide comfort to that news. It shakes your whole entire world the very second those words are said. As a parent who's been in those shoes, hope is everything. We are 100% committed to providing hope and joy to the many kids and families affected by cancer. We want to bring a smile to their faces. The proceeds raised will go towards providing families with patient grants to help with the many financial burdens. Proceeds will also go towards providing children with toys, gifts, and money so that they can experience a sense of joy and happiness.

Furthering Research for Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Children shouldn't have to battle such an enormous battle at such a young age, they should simply be kids. We need to find a cure, so that all kids can live life without fear and pain. To achieve this, our organization will donate proceeds to furthering Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma research. Providing funding for research remains our goal so that one day a cure can be found. Until that day, more treatment options need to be discovered, as well as widely available to the many kids enduring this immense fight.
